Report CCDA “All for Guatemala”

Dear Friends:

On behalf of the Coalition “All for Guatemala”, we are pleased to share with you the report from the Campesino Committe of the Highlands CCDA confirming receipt of the donation made by the coalition for the total amount of $17,866.88.  This donation has been designated towards the emergency relief and reconstruction effort for Tropical Storm “Agatha” in Guatemala.

With the support of the Breaking The Silence organization, we have processed 2010 tax receipts for donors who participated in the fundraising events for this emergency appeal.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to all who participated in the “TODOS POR GUATEMALA”/”All for Guatemala” campaign.  Your support has helped us to meet the immediate needs of many Guatemalans in more than ten communities through short term aid and will enable the CCDA to continue working with them over the long-term as they re-organize their communities; rebuild homes, schools and roads; re-establish agriculture; ensure access to clean water and health care; and protect against any future disasters.

Thank you once again for your compassionate response to the people of Guatemala as they struggle courageously and creatively to re-build their communities with hope and dignity.

Special thanks to:
